The
LaPlaya Hotel has invited our group back and they told me
they loved having the St. Thomas Bacchanal group there.
Mark your
calendars, and make plans to come to Bacchanal Numbah 14 in
May 2009. It's going to be held in fun-filled Daytona Beach,
Florida.
The Hotel where we
are holding the party, is the
LaPlaya Resort. We all have oceanfront views. Each room
has a kitchenette. (Publix is across the street, along with
many other shops.
There is an
activities director for the children. Games, face painting,
etc.
There are 2 pools, one
indoor one outdoor.
The Tiki bar is around the
pool, right off the beach. The hotel has a Comedy Club on
the premises, and we will get discount coupons.
The Hotel is
waiving a $5.00 parking fee, per car, per day...for those of
us staying at the hotel.
The rate is
$92.00 a night plus tax, and we have
until April 2, 2009 to
make our reservations at this low rate. Be sure to mention "STT
Bacchanal" when you call in to make your reservation.
Daytona is
a great location. Only an hour from St. Augustine, a truly
lovely and historical city, also an hour from Orlando,
Disney, and other Central Florida areas. There are airline
flights into Orlando or Daytona.
Daytona is
noted for its beautiful beaches, auto racing, dog races, and
the famous Boardwalk...Most of the Main street is being
re-furbished, since the hurricanes hit there a couple of
years ago.
I hope
each and every one of you who attend regularly, will bring
another friend or two with you, to enjoy our most special
weekend that we share each year. Imagine 14 years of old
friends gathering together and 14 years of making new
friends too.
